The Taylor and Grace families have been working the land, farming in New Zealand for almost two centuries. Master butchers, the Prestons have been providing artisan butchery cuts and smallgoods in Wellington for more than 100 years. In 1991, these pioneers, workers of the land and artisans came together to purchase the former City Abattoir and start Taylor Preston. One of New Zealand’s more diversified meat processing and export operations, Taylor Preston is 100% privately New Zealand owned by the original Taylor, Preston and Grace families. It’s a business founded on a shared respect for the heritage and traditions of the past and a keen interest in modern, innovative techniques.
Taylor Preston’s New Zealand raised grass-fed products travel by sea and air, fresh or frozen to more than 60 countries all over the world.
100% owned by Taylor Preston, Taylored Foods was started in 2013 to finish the journey our beef and lamb makes from the farm to the table. Innovators and flavour makers, Taylored Foods creates bespoke products made from Taylor Preston’s finest quality cuts of meat. These products include café style ready to eat beef burgers, slow-cooked lamb shanks and an extensive range of quality chef cuts.
